-Today we take a look at SuperBrawl VI from WCW.

-SuperBrawl VI was shown on PPV on February 11, 1996 from the Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. There were 7,200 in attendance, and the show did 210,000 buys.

-Intro discussing some of the matches we will see. Tony Schiavone welcomes us to SuperBrawl. He, Bobby Heenan, and Dusty Rhodes will call the matches. They discuss what we are going to see.

-Street Fight. Public Enemy Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge vs. The Nasty Boys Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs: They start immediately brawling. Nasty Boys thrown outside. Rock gets a table. Sags pounds on him with a chair. Grunge gets the chair and hits Sags with it. Knobbs slams Rock through the table. Sags gets a trash can. He hits Grunge with it. Back and forth. Sags piledrives Grunge through the trash can. They fight all over. Rock thrown through a souvenir stand. They all brawl there. They hit each other with what they can grab. It's hard to keep track of everything. Knobbs put on a table. Rock goes up into the stands, but misses the Drive By when Knobbs moves. Knobbs hits him with a section of the table and gets the pin. They continue to fight after the match.

-Mean Gene Okerlund talks to Konnan. He is the new US Champion. He says he is going to remain the champion.

-WCW TV Championship Match. Title and Kimberly vs. DDP's Money. Johnny B Badd vs. Diamond Dallas Page: Badd and Kimberly out first and get a great reaction. Hulk Hogan's wife at the time, Linda, is shown in the crowd. Page comes out with a bunch of roses. He tries to give them to Kimberly, only to get jumped by Badd. They trade blows. Page thrown into the barricade. He comes back and beats on Badd. It goes back outside. Badd with a float over leg drop to get a two count. Page begs off. Page yells at some fans. They trade wrist locks. They have a series of moves and reversals. Badd gets a backslide for a two count. He gets an inside cradle for a two count. Badd with an arm bar. Page comes back with a knee to the stomach. Page hits a hot shot. Page drops an elbow on Badd. He then hits a gut buster. He goes for an Irish whip, but Badd falls to the ground and it looks like his knee is hurt. They trade roll ups. Page slaps Badd around. He hits a modified DDT off the ropes. Kimberly gives him a 0. Badd gets a roll up for a two count. Page gets a two count. Back and forth. Page with a rear chin lock. He uses the ropes for leverage. Back and forth. Badd with a roll for a two count. They trade two counts. Badd with some punches and a double ax handle to Page. Kim gives a 10 for that. Badd with a sunset flip for a two count. Badd with a powerbomb for a two count. Back and forth. Badd with a roll up for another two count. Page with a back elbow and covers Badd with his foot on the ropes for a two count. Page with a pancake slam for a two count. Page with a sleeper. Badd hits a jaw breaker. Badd gets a sleeper on. Page gets to the rope. Badd hits the piledriver to get the pin. Badd and Kim then celebrate in the ring.

-Mean Gene Okerlund talks to Harlem Heat about their match with Sting and Lex Luger. Stevie Ray calls out Luger. Booker T calls Sting and Luger a couple of punks. They then call out the Road Warriors. Tony, Bobby, and Dusty talk about what's been happening between Sting and Lex Luger.

-WCW World Tag Team Championship Match. Sting and Lex Luger vs. Harlem Heat Booker T and Stevie Ray: Harlem Heat out first. Sting and Luger then out, and Sting doesn't like how Luger has been acting. The belts are presented. Sting and Booker start. They drive to a corner and break. Booker with a series of knees to Sting's stomach. Booker with a forearm. Sting reverses a corner whip and hits a clothesline. Booker gets a headscissors on Sting. Sting gets out. They lock up again. Luger tagged in. He works over Booker. They trade blows. Stevie tagged in. Double back elbow. Luger goes out to regroup. Sting tagged back in. Stevie with a series of shots and kicks to Sting. Sting with a dropkick, and Stevie comes back with a forearm to the eye. They trade blows. Sting with a series of shots and a bulldog. Luger tagged in. Booker is in, and Luger batters him down. He gets a two count. Luger with a belly to back suplex for a two count. He misses an elbow drop when Booker moves. Booker hits a side saulto. Booker with a spin wheel kick. Stevie in, and slams Luger several times. He chokes Luger. He drops a leg on Luger. He follows it up when a clothesline for a two count. Booker tagged back in. He keeps the assault up. Luger gets his leg up on a corner charge and hits a clothesline. Stevie tagged in. He kicks a fallen Luger. He powerbombs Luger. Stevie with a nerve hold to Luger. It is wild, but there is a guy in the crowd who looks like Brian Pillman, Jr. That's creepy in 1996. Luger fights back. Stevie beats him back down, and Booker tagged in. He hits a scissor kick to Luger. He cuts off a tag attempt and Harlem Heat double team Luger. Booker with a front face lock. Luger tags Sting in, but referee Nick Patrick doesn't see it. All four men are in. Sting hits the Stinger Splash on Booker. He goes to follow it up, but Stevie pulls the top rope down, and Sting spills out to the floor. Booker goes out to hurt Sting some more. The Road Warriors come down, and Animal hits Stevie in the back with a piece of lead. Luger gets the pin.

-Mean Gene interviews Sting and Luger. Luger said he held up his end of the bargain. Sting didn't answer if he saw what happened, but he thanks Luger.

-WCW United States Championship Match. Konnan vs. the One Man Gang: OMG out first. Konnan comes out to a decent ovation. The belt is presented. The bell rings and OMG beats Konnan down in a corner. Konnan comes back, and works on OMG. He hits a spin wheel kick. He attacks OMG and they spill out on the floor. OMG guillotines Konnan on the top rope. He follows it up with a leg drop. He chokes Konnan. He keeps Konnan down. He hits a side slam. OMG stays on Konnan. He batters him down in the corner. He stomps Konnan and runs him into a turnbuckle. Konnan tries to come back, but OMG hits a big boot. Steve Grissom from WCW motor sports is shown in the crowd. OMG hits a big elbow. He chokes Konnan on the middle rope. Konnan again tries to come back. He goes up top, and gets caught, but Konnan turns it into a head scissor takeover. He hits a couple of dropkicks, but misses a third one. OMG hits the 747, but pulls Konnan up before the three count. He misses a second splash when Konnan moves. He tumbles off the top rope onto OMG to get the pin.

-Mean Gene talks to the Road Warriors. Animal says he hit Luger after Luger hit him on Nitro. Hawk says too bad for Harlem Heat, but they have business with Sting and Lex Luger.

-Respect Strap Match. Kevin Sullivan with Jimmy Hart vs. Brian Pillman: Sullivan out first. Pillman sprints to the ring with the strap and starts hitting Sullivan with it. Sullivan grabs Pillman as Pillman straps him. They battle for position. Sullivan hits Pillman. Pillman grabs the mic and says I respect you, Booker Man, and leaves the ring. It was surreal. The crowd is confused. Arn Anderson comes out in a pair of shorts and a button down shirt. Sullivan straps him. Anderson takes his shirt off, and he and Sullivan have the match. They get strapped up. Anderson gets Sullivan down and straps him. He stomps Sullivan. Sullivan comes back and straps Anderson down. Back and forth. Anderson chokes Sullivan with the strap and throws Sullivan over the apron. Sullivan won't give up. They go outside. Anderson is thrown down and strapped. Back in, Anderson goes up top, and Sullivan yanks him down. Ric Flair comes out. He tells Sullivan and Anderson to stop and that they need to go after Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Anderson says to get to Hogan and Savage, he would get into bed with the Devil himself.

-Mean Gene talks to Jimmy Hart and the Giant. Hart says Hulk Hogan is finished. The Giant says today is a day of reckoning. He says it's going to erupt like a volcano. Hart says no one gets in or out of the cage.

-WCW World Tag Team Championship Match. Sting and Lex Luger vs. The Road Warriors Hawk and Animal: Road Warriors out first to a good ovation. Luger takes his time getting to the ring when he and Sting come out. He then takes off back towards the dressing room. Sting comes out after him. Luger reluctantly comes back. He stops about 15 feet from the ring. He says the Road Warriors need to take their spikes off. It takes a long time to get started. They take the spikes off. Luger goes back up the aisle. Then he comes back down, but won't get on the apron. Sting and Hawk start. Hawk gets a side headlock on. Sting pushes off, and Hawk hits a shoulder block. Hawk hits a dropkick. It goes outside. Sting runs Hawk into a barricade. Back in, Hawk hits a neck breaker on Sting. They battle for position. Hawk puts a modified Regal Stretch on Sting. Hawk batters Sting. Animal tagged in. He gets an arm bar on. Back and forth. Luger tagged in. He beats on Animal. Animal comes back and attacks Luger. He hits a power slam for a two count. He goes back to the arm bar. Hawk tagged in and hit a series of corner clotheslines to Luger. Hawk throws Luger out, and Animal throws him into the barricade. Luger comes back in and attacks Hawk. Sting tagged in. He hits a nice suplex for a two count. Animal tagged in. Sting goes after him, and Sting falls down and hits Animal with a low blow accidentally. Luger tagged in. He gets a front face lock on and Sting tagged in. He hits a bulldog on Animal. He goes for a splash, but Animal gets his knees up. Hawk and Luger tagged in. Hawk hits a shoulder block and leg drop for a two count. Hawk with a rear chin lock. He gets a sleeper on, but Luger hits a jaw breaker to break the hold. Animal and Sting tagged in. Sting hits a Stinger Splash and gets the Scorpion Death Lock on, but Hawk breaks it up with a clothesline. Hawk tagged in, and got an arm bar on. They trade blows. Sting gets a one count on a roll up. Animal tagged in. Animal with a chin lock. Luger came in to break it up, and now all four men are in. Animal no sells a suplex and suplexes Sting, who also no sells. Double back elbow and it is breaking down in St. Pete. It goes outside. Luger ran into the steps. Both teams get counted out. They continue to brawl. The crowd boos the decision.

-Mean Gene talks to Ric Flair and Woman. He says Hogan's master plot has failed. He says Savage has no choice but to lose the title tonight. Tony, Bobby, and Dusty then talk about the cage matches coming up. The cage is lowered.

-Uncensored ad. Mean Gene talks to Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage. Savage says Mega Powers several times, and he wouldn't be the only one during the show. That's going to be a letter from the WWF right there.

-Cage match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Savage with Miss Elizabeth vs. Ric Flair with Woman: Michael Buffer makes the introductions. Flair and Woman out first. Savage and Liz get a good reception when they come out. It takes a while to get started. Flair stalling to get in the cage. He tells Liz to come here and give him a kiss. Savage taunts him and says no. Savage is intense here and wants Flair to come in. Flair wants no part of it. They finally get in and Savage attacks Flair. The bell rings, and they attack each other. The cage is locked. Flair chops Savage. He drops a knee on Savage. He runs Savage into the cage. Savage briefly hung upside down, and Flair attacked him. Flair knocks the referee out. Savage comes back with some clotheslines for a two count. Back and forth. Savage ran into the cage after Flair pushes off. They trade blows. Flair with a back elbow. Flair attacks Savage with everything he has. Flair beats Savage down. He goes up top, but gets caught and thrown off, so TASIYDAH. Savage puts the figure four on Flair. He gets a two count on Flair. Flair is trying desperately to get out of the hold. Flair gets to the ropes, but it doesn't count in a cage match. They trade blows, and Savage gets a two count. Savage goes to the top of the cage and comes off, only to get caught with a shot from Flair. Flair hits a delayed suplex. He gets a two count. Then a series of two counts. Savage ran into the cage. Flair gets the figure four on. Savage tries to get out. He grabs the ropes and the cage. Flair beats on Savage and goes to reapply the figure four, but he gets rolled up for a two count. Flair chops Savage in the corner. Flair ran into the cage several times. Savage runs Flair's face into the cage. Woman screams over and over. Flair is busted open. Flair beats Savage down and then collapses. Flair goes up top, but again gets caught, so take another shot. He punches Savage off, but falls and crotches himself on the top rope. Savage gets a close two count. Flair low blows Savage. He attacks Savage. Flair goes up and again gets caught, and I have seen enough of Flair's ass for two lifetimes now, thank you very much. Both collapse to the mat. Savage runs Flair into the cage several times. The cage door opens. They chop and hit each other in the corner. Woman goes to throw powder in Savage's face, but he drops down. Meanwhile, Liz hands her shoe to Flair through the cage door. Savage rolls Flair up for a two count. Flair hits Savage with the shoe. He covers Savage and gets the pin to become the new World Champion. Woman and Liz cheer. Hulk Hogan comes out. He has a chair. Arn Anderson is in the cage. Hogan hits Anderson and Flair with the chair, and they escape. They show Savage being helped out of the cage. A Hogan sucks chant goes out.

-Tony, Dusty, and Bobby talk about what just happened. Mean Gene talks to Hulk Hogan. He calls Elizabeth a turncoat. He talks about his cage match with the Giant.

-Unsanctioned cage match. Escape the cage rules. Hulk Hogan vs. The Giant with Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart: Giant and company out first. Hogan comes out to a mostly positive reaction. He climbs up and over into the cage. He attacks the Giant right away as a Hogan sucks chant goes out again. He chokes Giant with some wrist tape. He hits corner mounted punches. He steps on Giant's throat. All Hogan so far. He then chokes Giant with his shirt. He tries to slam Giant, but can't. Giant comes back on Hogan. Test of strength. Giant kicks Hogan. He chokes Hogan with the shirt. Giant chops Hogan. He hits a big kick. He goes back to chopping Hogan and going after Hogan's injured eye. Giant slams Hogan. He misses an elbow drop. Hogan comes back. He tries to slam Giant again, but Giant falls on Hogan. Giant is brutalizing Hogan. Hogan ran into the cage several times. Giant hits a suplex. They open the door. Hogan grabs Giant's leg. Giant hits a backbreaker. He runs Hogan into the cage again several times. Giant with a bear hug. The crowd starts to get behind Hogan. The Giant bears down on the bear hug. Hogan gets out. He tries to get Giant down, but Giant hits a big boot. He hits a choke slam. Hogan comes back. He beats on the Giant. He runs him into the cage several times. Hogan hits the big boot. He slams Giant. He hits three leg drops. Hogan starts to climb. Giant comes back and grabs Hogan. They fight on the top rope. Giant slammed off. Hogan climbs over and gets out to win. Kevin Sullivan hits Hogan with a chair. Hogan gets the chair and chases Sullivan in. The Giant and Sullivan double team Hogan. The rest of the Dungeon of Doom comes out, and Hogan hits them all. No one has ever heard of Double Teaming? He fights them all off. Loch Ness comes out. The DOD holds him back. Hogan poses as they leave. End Credits.

-Final Thoughts: The Liz turn was unexpected, but the Dungeon of Doom stuff does nothing for me.
