-Billy and Chuck defeated Justin Credible and Lance Storm before the PPV began.
-Intro. Jim Ross welcomes us to Rebellion along with Paul Heyman. They talk about what we are going to see tonight.
-Steel cage match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Edge vs. Christian: Christian out first. He is the new European Champion. Edge out to a massive pop. Christian attacks Edge as soon as he gets in the cage. They trade shots. Edge chokes Christian with his coat. He hits a corner whip. Back and forth. Christian tries to escape the cage. Edge pulls him down and gets a two count. Edge ran into the cage. Christian with a side headlock takeover to Edge. He works on Edge’s injured shoulder. He gets a two count. Edge stops Christian from leaving the cage. Christian gets another two count. He goes to leave the cage, but Edge stops him. Edge slams Christian off and gets a crossbody for a two count. Edge catapulted into the cage for a two count. Christian with a rear chin lock. Edge gets to his feet. He knocks Christian down. Christian with a belly to back suplex. He hits corner mounted punches. Edge hits a Spear and both men down. They get up and trade blows. They both get counters. Edge with a sit out power bomb for a two count. Christian stops Edge from escaping. Edge runs Christian into the cage. Christian grabs Edge as Edge was trying to escape. Christian climbs over the cage. Edge grabs Christian’s legs and pulls them through the bars and ties them together. Edge gets out of the cage to win the match. Edge raises the belt high as he leaves.
-Flashback to Kurt Angle joining the Alliance. Bill Demott and Chavo Guerrero Jr. argue over who gets to interview the Divas. They both go in and interview Trish Stratus. She puts them off.
-Scotty 2 Hotty vs. The Hurricane: They circle each other and lock up. They trade moves and counters. They hit each other in the corner. Scotty with a head scissors and a dropkick for a two count. Scotty ran into the ring post, and Hurricane hit a neck breaker for a two count. They trade more shots. Hurricane with a roll up for a two count. Hurricane with a hip lock. He beats Scotty down and puts on a modified camel clutch. Hurricane puts his cape on and goes up top, but gets caught. Scotty catches Hurricane with a shot and a DDT. Both men down. Both wrestlers are up at 9. Scotty hits a back elbow. He gets a two count. Scotty with a bulldog and the Worm to get the pin.
-Chavo and Bill wait for their interview. Lita kicks them out.
-DDP does one of his Positively Page spots. Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Big Show: TBS pushes DDP down. They trade shots. DDP with a side headlock. TBS with a push off and knocks DDP out of the ring. He gets back in and attacks TBS’s leg. DDP with a clothesline off the top rope. TBS comes back with a clothesline. DDP with a Diamond Cutter out of a choke slam attempt. DDP gets a two count. TBS hits the choke slam to get the pin.
-Chavo and Bill try to interview Molly Holly, who is embarrassed that she doesn’t have her cape on.
-Steve Austin, Shane McMahon, and Kurt Angle talk strategy.
-Elimination Triple Threat match for the WCW World Tag Team Championship. The Dudley Boyz Devon and Bubba Ray vs. The APA Farooq and Bradshaw vs. The Hardy Boyz Matt and Jeff: Bubba and Matt start. Bubba pushes Matt down. Matt comes back with speed moves. Bradshaw is in and gets both Bubba and Matt down for a two count. He puts Matt on the top rope, but Matt comes back with a DDT for a two count. Jeff tagged in. Double suplex on Bradshaw for a two count. Farooq tagged in. He beats Jeff down for a two count. Jeff with a dropkick. Devon tagged in, and Farooq took him down. A we want tables chant goes out. Farooq with a spinebuster. Bubba slammed. The Dudley's double team Farooq. Matt hits a Twist of Fate on Farooq to eliminate the APA. Bubba double suplexed by the Hardy Boyz. The Dudley's double team Jeff and Bubba calls for the table. Jeff fights back and Bubba hits the Bubba Bomb. Devon tagged in. He beats Jeff down in the corner. He throws Jeff out, and Bubba runs Jeff into the announce table. Devon gets a two count. Devon with a power slam. Bubba tagged in and dropped a series of elbows for a two count. Jeff put in the tree of woe and attacked by Bubba. Jeff low blows Bubba and hits a hurricanrana for a two count. Matt and Devon tagged in. Matt hits a second rope leg drop, and Bubba breaks the count. Jeff misses a swanton. The Dudley's hit the 3D on Matt to get the pin.

-Flashback to the bad blood between Chris Jericho and the Rock. Vince McMahon is shown in the back with both. He says the Survivor Series is coming up. He says they don't have to be friends or even like each other, but they have to get along. He forces them to shake hands. They both passively put down each other before they start fighting.
-William Regal comes out and addresses the crowd. He puts the crowd down, and he is so good at his job. He gets cut off by Tajiri. William Regal vs. Tajiri: The bell rings, and they circle each other. Regal with a side headlock. Tajiri gets to the ropes. Back and forth. Good chain wrestling. Tajiri with a series of kicks to send Regal out. Tajiri comes out, and Regal runs him into a ring post to regain the advantage. They go back to trading moves. Regal gets a series of two counts. Regal with a running knee. Regal with a chin lock. Tajiri fights back. Regal puts Tajiri on the top rope and kicks Tajiri. He kicks Tajiri repeatedly. Tajiri with a hard shot to Regal. Tajiri with a missile dropkick for a two count. Tajiri gets the Tarantula on. Tajiri misses a moonsault and Regal gets the Regal Stretch on and Tajiri taps. Tajiri hits Regal with the green mist and hits Regal with a kick after the match.
-Michael Cole talks to Kurt Angle. Angle puts down the crowd and Chris Jericho.
-WCW World Heavyweight Championship match. Chris Jericho vs. Kurt Angle: Angle out first. He is the US Champion, but only Jericho's title is on the line. The bell rings and they lock up. They drive to a corner. Jericho with a series of shots to Angle. He beats Angle down. Jericho with a series of suplexes. Angle comes back with a German suplex to Jericho. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Angle gets to the ropes and falls to the floor. Jericho comes out after Angle and chops him. They trade chops. Angle ran into the ring. Jericho throws Angle into the ring. A crossbody gets a two count for Jericho. Angle gets the ankle lock on, but Jericho kicks him away. Jericho throws Angle into a ring post. Jericho with a shoulder breaker. Angle with a sunset flip. Jericho counters with an arm bar. They go back to chopping each other. Angle hits Jericho with a Hot Shot. Back and forth. Angle with a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Angle with a short clothesline. He follows it up with a suplex for a two count. Angle with a reverse chin lock. Jericho gets to his feet. Angle takes Jericho back down with a single leg. He goes back to the rear chin lock. Jericho hits an enziguri. Both men down and a double count going. Both up at 9. They trade shots. Jericho with a neck breaker. He hits a hurricanrana for a two count. Jericho with a roll up and gets the ankle lock on Angle. Angle gets to the ropes. Angle with a series of German suplexes. He gets a close two count. Angle gets the ankle lock, but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho. Angle gets to the ropes. Jericho with a bulldog. Jericho gets a Lionsault, but Angle gets his knees up. Jericho gets a roll up as Angle was going for the Angle Slam and pins Angle. Angle attacks Jericho after the match. He hits Jericho with the Angle Slam two times.
-Michael Cole interviews the Rock. Rock puts down Cole. He says he is going to beat Steve Austin. This went on way too long, but the crowd ate it up.
-Divas tag team match. Trish Stratus is the special guest referee. Mighty Molly and Stacy Kiebler vs. Lita and Torrie Wilson: Lita gets a great ovation when she comes out. Kiebler and Wilson start. Kiebler with the early advantage. Wilson comes back with a dropkick. Lita tagged in. She hits Kiebler with a back elbow. Wilson tagged back in. Wilson with some shots. Molly tagged in. She gets Wilson in the corner, and Kiebler tagged back in. She gets Wilson down. Molly tagged in and suplexes Wilson. Double team to Wilson. Molly gets a two count. Molly goes up top. Wilson moves, and Lita tagged in. Lita gets slammed going for Poetry in Motion, but hits the Twist of Fate on Molly to get the pin. Kiebler complains to Stratus, who bulldogs Kiebler in response.
-Flashback to what led to the main event. WWF Championship match. Steve Austin vs. The Rock: Austin out with a serious look on his face. Rock out to a great ovation. Austin attacks Rock from behind. They trade chops and shots. Rock with a neck breaker. Austin was thrown outside. Rock comes out after Austin and runs him into the announce table. They fight around the announce table. They get back in, but Rock then clotheslines Austin back out. Rock chops Austin on the ramp. Rock suplexes Austin on the ramp. He then backdrops out of a piledriver attempt. Back and forth at ringside. Rock catapulted into a ring post. Back in, Austin continues to beat Rock down. He chokes Rock on the middle rope. Austin taunts the crowd. Rock gets a roll up for a two count. Austin throws Rock out. They fight on the announce table, and Rock low blows Austin. Austin chokes Rock with a camera cord. They chop each other. Rock slammed face first on the announce table. Austin gets Rock down in the ring and argues with the referee. Rock tries to come back, but gets hit with a Thesz Press. He gets a two count. Austin clips Rock's leg. Austin drops elbows on Rock's throat. Rock then hits a Thesz Press. He gets a two count. Austin comes back with a sleeper. Rock starts to fade. The hand doesn't fall three times. Rock comes back He gets a sleeper of his own. Austin turns it into a modified Stunner and hits a spinebuster. He gets a two count. Austin gets a Boston crab on. He pulls Rock away from the ropes. Rock fights and gets to the ropes. Austin argues with referee Earl Hebner. Double clothesline and both men down. A double count is going. Both up and trading shots. Rock with a suplex for a two count. Rock with a corner clothesline, and Hebner gets taken out. Rock with a spinebuster and puts the Sharpshooter on, but there is no referee. Rock goes to revive Hebner, but Austin hits Rock and puts the Sharpshooter on Rock. Hebner is still out. Rock counters, and Kurt Angle comes out and hits Rock with a chair. Chris Jericho comes out and gets the chair from Angle. Rock up and thinks Jericho hit him with the chair. They fight and Rock clotheslines Jericho out. Austin goes for a Stunner and gets hit with a Rock Bottom. Angle attacks Rock, but gets clotheslined out. Rock hits Austin with the Rock Bottom, but Rock gets tripped by Angle when Rock goes for the People's Elbow, allowing Austin to hit Rock with a Stunner. Austin gets the pin. Angle gets Austin up and gives Austin the title. They sign off from Manchester.
-Final Thoughts: Not a bad show, but it's just a placeholder until the Survivor Series.
